Clarendon Update
September 7, 2021
It’s been a really busy summer here at the surgery. The end of the Pet Passport following Brexit, the ‘Pingdemic’ and a post-lock-down surge in pet ownership have really kept us on our toes! We would like to thank all our lovely clients, old and new, for your continued patience. We appreciate you may have to wait a little longer for routine appointment because of high demand. Early booking is highly recommended!
Harriet returns from Maternity leave in October. She is very much looking forward to seeing you all again. Patrick is having a couple of hard-earned weeks away whilst our very capable locums, Jess, Magda and Mario hold the fort.
Our trainee vet nurse Simone has recently passed all of her nursing exams so is now a fully qualified vet nurse. Kayleigh is now a clinical coach, meaning she can help student nurses achieve RVN status, and is also studying for a qualification in anaesthesia. Catherine has recently completed a small animal nutrition course so is on hand to provide nutritional advice when required.
Nancy, Anna and Sue have been doing their very best to juggle an increasingly busy diary in between swan rescues, wildlife rehabilitation, dog walking, pet sitting and paperwork!
We are maintaining some Covid restrictions in the practice, so still asking owners to wait outside while we see animals in all but the most extreme weather and situations. We are trying to avoid having to close the surgery should too many of us become unwell or have to isolate so please bear with us!
