We would like to thank all our clients for their patience and support during a challenging winter. It’s not been fun waiting outside to be seen in the cold and rain, but everyone has been very understanding, and we hope our outdoor waiting room is more appealing now that the sun is (sometimes) shining!

You may notice a few old and new faces if you visit the surgery in the coming months…

Harriet will soon be started her maternity leave and we are very happy to have Jess covering her leave until the autumn. Jess graduated from Edinburgh University in 2016. It goes without saying that she loves both cats and dogs, but Jess also enjoys treating small furries and wildlife and has a strong interest in Conservation.

Kayleigh is our new Nurse, joining us from the Queen’s Veterinary Hospital where she was a surgical nurse. She has an interest in Feline nursing and is currently studying for a Nursing Certificate in Anaesthesia. Catherine passed all her nursing exams with flying colours last summer, meaning we now have two Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN’s) to care for your pets before, during and after surgery.

Sue is looking forward to getting back to work at the surgery on Saturday mornings, ably assisted by Trainee Veterinary Nurse Simone, who has been a great help at the surgery while completing her placement.

We are looking forward to a busy spring now that we are all getting out and about a little more. If you would like to register a pet, or need any pet care advice, we would love to hear from you.
