Jean Coe- Animal Artist

Our new branch surgery in Stapleford has such a lot of lovely wall space that we felt it would be a shame for it to go to waste. We are inviting local artists to display their work, some, but not all of which is animal themed. Not only does this brighten our surgery, but hopefully also gives the many talented artists in the area a chance to show-case their work. Our first artist, exhibiting until the end of September, is Jean Coe. 

Jean is a self-taught artist from Great Shelford. She has been creating portraits of pets and wildlife for over 40 years and has received countless commissions in the UK and abroad. 

Jean uses soft pastels, coloured pencils, acrylic and watercolour paints. These are chosen to suit the subject and bring realism and detail to the finished portrait.
